Winter Wonderland

I live by the sea, which generally means our weather is quite mild.  

We get a lot of rain, but the temperatures do not drop very low.  When it snows, the snow is heavy and wet and disappears within a day or two.  This week, however, we had a huge dump of snow.  We must have received 30cm at least! 

It was perfect weather to hole up inside with the twin foxes, and watch the flakes fall from the warmth of our cozy home.  One the last day, though, we decided to venture out for a walk with the babes in tow.  

There is always a bit of a childlike state that comes out in me when it snows.  It was such fun and I am glad we got to play just a little.
