Welcome to Wild Island Love!

Welcome to Wild Island Love!  This blog has been brewing in my mind for quite a while now.  What I have discovered is that there is no perfect way to start a blog.  At some point, you  just have to go for it, whether you feel ready or not.

This is me.

I live on Vancouver Island, in a small town by the sea called Comox, with my husband, border collie, and twin "foxes" (the affectionate term for our twin babies) on the way.  I am an island girl through and through.  I have travelled various places in the world but, to me, none rival the natural, rugged beauty of the west coast.  I love it here.



I plan to share bits and pieces of my life by the sea, along with other things that I love.  I find great enjoyment in all things "home grown," whether that is baking, or sewing, or farmer's markets, or other handmade projects.  I am excited to share these with you along the way.
